Well established in the urban fabric, the development project put forward by the agency CHRISTINE ET MICHEL PENA will unify the two parks that are separated by the rue de l'épine. This link, that will be both physical and visual, will be made possible by a walkway integrated into a vast grassy area: the Grande Traverse.

The Grande Traverse, the backbone of the park, will link together all the laid-out areas: to the North, the statute of Ipousteguy, the family gardens, wooded areas leading to Park House, the central point surrounded by theme-based and educational gardens and to the South, the Panoramic Viewpoint that provides a splendid view over Paris.

From the Panoramic Viewpoint, you can descend to Montreuil, play in the stadium or continue towards the wild, wet area of the former wastelands.

Upon completion of the work scheduled for 2005, there will be a 26-hectare area for walking, leisure and environmental awareness in the very heart of the town.
